A few months ago, I decided to try out this whole experiment with putting prenatal vitamins in my shampoo and conditioners. My hope was that these vitamins would promote thicker, healthier hair. Did it work? Not so much. The only thing that vitamins in my shampoo and conditioner did was make some of my favorite products turn different colors and make my hair AND products smell weird–as my boyfriend said “smell like baby food.” Yea, not a fan.
So, my general conclusion, is that this whole experiment was a flop. If you want longer, healthier, thicker hair I’d suggest improving your hair regimen and taking vitamins ORALLY.
