SheaMoisture African Black Soap Facial Wash & Scrub

This scrub, part of the new SheaMoisture male grooming line, is meant to focus on “addressing ingrown hairs, razor bumps, razor burn and dark spots while providing a rich and luxuriously close shaving experience.” After using this product on my boyfriend, several times, I believe it works! The Jojoba Beads gently exfoliate skin and raise hair. African Black Soap and Kaolin Clay deeply cleanse, open pores and detoxify skin. Organic African Shea Butter moisturizes and soothes skin. Black Seed Oil, Willow Bark extract and Vitamin A help to prevent razor bumps and irritation.

While I have yet to see a huge difference in ingrown hairs, I will say that it does minimize dark spots AND leaves his skin super soft afterwards! Thus, it really is getting rid of dead skin cells and cleaning the face! I purchased this product at Target for $11 for 4 fl oz.

African black soap, shea butter, coconut oil, deionized water, sodium lauroyl lactylate (coconut oil), glycerine, cetyl alcohol, myristyl alcohol, potassium hydroxide, mango oil, myristic acid (palm oil), coconut fatty acids, polysorbate, jojoba beads, black seed oil, willowbark extract, alpha bisabolol (chamomile extract), essential oil blend, salicylic acid, sodium lactate, rosemary extract, japanese honeysuckle extract.

This facial wash and scrub is to be used like any other cleanser/exfoliator. You can either apply to your palms, rub together and apply to a damp face OR apply to an exfoliating facial pad and apply to a damp face. I prefer to use an exfoliating facial pad but, if you have sensitive skin, it’s best to just use your hands. Rinse and voila, soft exfoliated purified skin!
