This conditioner is meant to be used after the SheaMoisture Tahitian Noni & Monoi Smooth & Repair Conditioning Shampoo. So, to ensure maximum benefits, I did! I was able to purchase this conditioner from Target for $10 for 13 fl oz.
Water, cocodimonium hydroxypropyl hydrolyzed keratin, behentrimonium chloride, organic coconut oil, inulin, olive fruit oil, apricot oil, gardenia extract, behenyl alcohol, glycerin, fragrance, jojoba, shea butter, acetyl tetrapeptide, hydrolyzed keratin, trametes versicolor extract, clover flower extract, argan oil, vegetable protein, pg-propyl silanetriol, cystine bis pg-propyl silanetriol, hydrolyzed wheat protein, panthenol, polyglyceryl-3 stearate, noni extract, glyceryl caprylate, glyceryl undecylenate, guar hydroxypropyltrimonim chloride, stearyl alcohol, diheptyl succinate, capryloy glycerin/sebacic acid copolymer, phytic acid, butylene glycol, dextran, citric acid granular.
HOW I USED IT
I used this after using the accompanying shampoo. The instructions say to work through hair, from root to end, and gently comb throughout the hair. I followed these instructions and left on for about 5 minutes. I find that conditioners work best when left on for about 3-5 minutes, so follow this step ladies! Take this time to shave your legs, exfoliate, wash etc!
Now, when I first started to distribute this throughout my hair, I noticed that it did have that immediate “slip” effect that other SheaMoisture conditioners have, such as the Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner. It’s consistency is watery but I would recommend the use of a wide tooth comb to ensure equal distribution. The scent, similar to the products in this Noni & Monoi line, is one that’s hard to pinpoint. It smells similar to the other SheaMoisture products with a bit of a herbal twist! No complaints here
After washing out this product (pictured below), my hair still felt soft and was frizz free. I would certainly purchase this product again!
